Customer
The customer undertakes to comply with these and the merchant-specific terms and conditions when purchasing products and
services on the Lakeistenranta Camping internet service.
Reservations for services or products can be made verbally, in writing or via an electronic
reservation system.
General terms and conditions
• The prices shown in the online service are inclusive of VAT.
• We apply dynamic pricing to accommodation facilities. Prices are time-dependent
and may vary monthly, weekly and daily.
• We sell products to individuals of legal age and corporate customers.
• We reserve the right to change prices.
• The customer is responsible for the accuracy of the information provided.
• We reserve the right to change our delivery terms. The customer must
read the current delivery terms before placing an order.
Booking Terms
These terms and conditions apply to products and services that are rented and reserved. These are collectively
referred to as "the property".
Booking
• The customer is responsible for familiarizing himself with the description and
instructions of the property(ies) to be booked, as well as the terms and conditions related to the booking.
• The customer's booking is binding when the booking/payment confirmation has
been sent to the email address provided by the customer.
• The customer pays for the booking using the payment method chosen, in accordance with
the terms and conditions of the payment method.
• The booking system sends the order/payment confirmation to the email address provided by the customer.
• Lakeistenranta Camping is not responsible for a failed booking, but the customer must immediately
contact the campsite staff to rectify the situation.
• Lakeistenranta Camping does not guarantee that the property is still available in this situation.
• If the property is not available, the money will be refunded or, if possible, another property will be offered in place.
Accommodation day
The accommodation day in the cabins starts at 15:00 and ends at 12:00
in the RV and tent starts at 14:00 and ends at 14:00.
The campsite is open in summer from June 10 to August 31. and the reception is open every day from 10.6. from
until 31.8. until.
Silence is from 23:00 to 07:00.
Cancellations and changes
If you are prevented from arriving, you must cancel the reservation immediately by phone (050 5266025) or by email (lakeistenranta@gmail.com).
If it is a reservation that has already been paid for, you can apply
repayment via email at lakeistenranta@gmail.com. Always remember to report
your name, and the date of accommodation. Reservations paid by credit card will be refunded
as a rule, back to the credit card and online bank payments to the account from which the payment is made
completed. The refund request must be made no later than 14 days after the cancellation.
1. Reservations for normal dates
• The cancellation date is the day on which Lakeistenranta Camping has received notification of the cancellation.
• The customer is responsible for ensuring that the cancellation is sent in sufficient time.
• If the customer cancels their reservation,
o when there is 14 days or more to the start of the reservation,
delivery costs will be charged for the reservation. The amount of the delivery costs is 20 €.
o when there is less than 13 days but at least 8 days to the start of the reservation,
50% of the rental price of the object will be charged.
o when there is less than 7 days to the start of the reservation, the full rental price will be charged.
The reservation can be transferred at the customer's request under the following conditions:
• The transfer can only be made once.
• It is not possible to change the object during the transfer.
• The transfer must take place no later than 14 days before the start of the original reservation.
• The transfer fee is 20 EUR (incl. VAT)
• If a transferred reservation is cancelled, the full rental price will always be charged, regardless of
the cancellation date.
2. Special event reservations that include at least two days of accommodation (e.g. Midsummer)
• Special event reservations are always paid in advance either in the online store or
against an invoice.
• If the customer does not pay by the due date, Lakeistenranta Camping may
unilaterally cancel the reservation and return the property to sale.
Note. Failure to pay for the reservation does not constitute a cancellation! If the customer does not cancel their reservation and
the property remains unsold due to an unpaid reservation (which has not been
canceled in writing), the full price of the reservation will be charged to the customer who did not arrive.
An office fee of €20 will be charged for cancellation of the reservation if the cancellation occurs no later than 14
days before the start date of the reservation
No-show: the campsite has the right to charge the customer the full price of the reserved services
.Departure before the agreed time: the full price will be charged for the unused time.
Cottage keys
• If necessary, the customer will be sent instructions about the key by email.
• For a lost or unreturned key, the owner has the right to charge all
costs arising from re-keying or changing locks
in full, but at least EUR 100.
• The merchant has the right to charge at least EUR 20 in compensation if the merchant has to open
the property due to a lost or left-in key.
General conditions (individual customers and groups)
Accommodation and cleaning of the cottage
The accommodation price includes the right to use the accommodation unit. The accommodation unit is included in the price
includes the equipment specified in the object description. If the booker notices at the destination
deficiencies or other things to point out, he must immediately inform the staff of the campsite.
Bed linen and towels are not included in the price of accommodation in camp cabins. Camp cabins
final cleaning is included in the price of the accommodation unit.
However, the customer is required, for all cabins, that he
empty the fridge, wash the dishes, take the cabin's rubbish to the waste point and take it away
bottles and cans you may have brought with you.
The waste must be taken to the designated collection points.
When leaving the cottage, all electrical appliances (fridge, coffee maker, microwave
etc.) to be off. The lights must be turned off and the exterior doors must be closed and locked.
We reserve the right to invoice the customer afterwards if the cleaning of the cabin requires extra
cleaning or using special detergents.
We recycle! The campsite kitchen has its own waste containers for mixed cardboard, glass, metal and
for biowaste. Please take this into account during your stay.
Cancellation of the reservation due to disruptive behavior
If the customer/booker behaves in violation of the general rules of the campsite or the instructions given by the campsite
staff and does not stop causing a disturbance or danger in the accommodation unit or the surrounding area despite a notice/admonition given by the campsite representative, Lakeistenranta Camping has the right
to cancel the reservation immediately. The actual
costs incurred for all of the above measures will be charged to the booker.
The campsite is quiet from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. If fellow campers and cabin guests are disturbed
during the quiet period, they have the right to call the police.
Damage, deficiencies and complaints
All comments regarding the equipment and condition of the accommodation unit must be addressed
immediately to the campsite staff, so that they can be
repaired or compensated if possible. If the disadvantage cannot be repaired or compensated on site, an
immediate written complaint must be made. Complaints made afterwards will not be taken into account.
Similarly, the customer is obliged to immediately report and compensate for any damage caused to the accommodation unit or
other buildings and their movables in the campsite.
Unreported damage will be invoiced at the actual costs afterwards: The booker is
fully responsible for the condition of the accommodation unit he has booked
during his accommodation reservation. Lakeistenranta Camping is not liable for problems caused by a third party (e.g. outages in the water or electricity network, telecommunications or TV network).
Number of persons
The maximum number of persons allowed in an accommodation unit is the same as the number of beds and extra beds.
The number of persons must be declared in the passenger declaration at the latest at the time of check-in,
and must not be exceeded.
The person making the accommodation reservation and at least one of the guests must be 18 years old. The age of the guests can be verified at any time during the stay.
If none of the guests meet the age requirement, the reservation can be cancelled without refund.
Obligation to provide passenger information
According to the Accommodation Act, the passenger must fill out a passenger declaration before staying.
The customer has the option of filling out and printing out an electronic passenger declaration in advance,
which speeds up accommodation at the campsite. The passenger declaration must be filled out at the latest at
the time of check-in. When the reception is not open, personal data is collected
by e-mail. Neglecting the obligation to provide information and providing false personal data is punishable by the Criminal Code.
When making a reservation and no later than 24 hours before the stated
arrival date, the traveler must provide personal information (first name, last name and date of birth) of all
persons in the same accommodation reservation as him/her. If this information
is not provided in the manner mentioned above, Lakeistenrata Camping has the right not to confirm
the reservation or to cancel a reservation that has already been made. The merchant will only refund the value of the reservation
if the cancellation has been made within the cancellation terms.
The information is collected as additional information in the passenger register (Act 28.4.2006/308 on Accommodation and
Food and Beverage Operations)
Minors
Minors are welcome to stay. We require that each minor
stayer has a free-form permission slip from their guardian or has sent it
by email in advance. The slip must also include the guardian's phone number. All guests in the cottage
are jointly and severally liable if the property is intentionally broken or stolen.
We will also report any vandalism to the guardians and, if necessary, to the police.
The person making the reservation and at least one of the guests must be 18 years old. The guests'
age can be checked at any time during the stay. If any of the guests do not meet
the age requirement, the reservation can be cancelled without refund.
Smoking and pets
Smoking is only allowed outside the accommodation premises. For unauthorized smoking inside
Lakeistenranta Camping has the right to charge additional costs for cleaning and ventilation.
Pets are allowed in the accommodation, but must always be notified in advance.
Please reserve your own bed for your pet if necessary, as pets will not be accommodated on the bed or sofa.
A pet's illness is not a reason to cancel a reservation. Pets must be kept
on a leash in the camping area and may not be left alone in the accommodation without
supervision. If you walk your pet in the camping area, please collect the waste and put it in the
bin. The person booking is fully responsible and liable for any damage caused by their pets. The owner must also pay special attention
to the cleanliness of the accommodation.
Disputes
Primarily, Lakeistenranta Camping and the customer will negotiate any disagreements and
shall strive for a solution. If the customer and Lakeistenranta Camping cannot reach an agreement, the customer
may submit the dispute to the Consumer Complaints Board.
Lakeistenrantaq Camping's right to cancel the reservation
The campsite is not liable for cancellation of the reservation caused by force majeure. In such a case, the customer has the right to get any accommodation paid in advance
back. The service provider’s liability is limited to the refund of the amount paid, and there is no obligation to provide a replacement. In the event of force majeure, the service provider may, to the extent possible, offer an alternative to cancelling the reservation, namely to change the reservation to another form of accommodation.
Lakeistenranta Camping has the right to change the service, its content, availability
and the terms of this agreement at any time by notifying the Customer thereof on its website. The changes will
come into force immediately, however, so that the Customer's reservations will always be subject to the terms and conditions in force at the time of
making the reservation.
Special terms and conditions for rental equipment (SUP boards, kayaks, etc.)
The Customer must read the safety and operating instructions for the equipment. The equipment must be used
carefully and only for the normal use intended for it. The Renter undertakes
to carry out a safety inspection during the rental period. The rental equipment may not be taken out of the country or re-rented. The rental equipment may only be used to the extent permitted by the terms and
and only in performance venues suitable for the user's skill level and competence. The Customer
uses all equipment and accessories at his or her own risk.
With regard to water sports equipment (e.g. canoes, kayaks, SUP boards and rowing boats), the customer
declares that he/she is a good swimmer and has previous experience in using the equipment in question.
The customer must return the equipment immediately at the end of the rental period to the agreed location
cleaned and otherwise in the same condition as when it was rented.
The renter must immediately notify the campsite staff if the return is delayed.
The lessor has the right to charge a 50% increased rent for the excess period, unless otherwise
agreed separately.
The customer is obliged to compensate for any damage and costs caused to the rental equipment during the rental period due to careless or
incorrect handling and insufficient maintenance.
The customer is obliged to compensate for any equipment destroyed or lost during the rental period at its
new purchase value. The customer is responsible for compliance with transport, safety and other regulations. The customer is obliged to report any damage to the equipment to the camping site staff immediately. Lakeistenranta Camping is responsible for repairs resulting from normal wear and tear of the equipment. Lakeistenranta Camping is not responsible for any indirect or direct costs or damages that may be incurred by the lessee as a result of the use or breakage of the equipment. Lakeistenranta Camping does not undertake to supply new equipment in place of the broken rental item, nor to compensate for indirect or direct costs resulting from the interruption of operations.
Compensation for damages
The customer is obliged to compensate Lakeistenranta Camping for any damage that he has caused to the property.
The booker is also responsible for other people visiting the property and for any damage they cause
during the booking.
Lakeistenranta Camping does not compensate for any inconvenience or expenses that the customer may incur due to natural conditions, such as insects, animals, frost damage or
unexpected weather changes.
Complaints
Any complaints must always be made as soon as possible after the matter arises.
If a satisfactory solution cannot be found or if there is a claim for compensation, the complaint
must be sent in writing within one month of the end of the rental period.
Lakeistenranta Camping will endeavour to handle the complaint as quickly as possible, but no later than
one month.
If the customer and Lakeistenranta Camping cannot reach an agreement, the customer may submit the dispute to the
Consumer Complaints Board.
Payment terms
• Lakeistenranta Camping uses reliable and secure payment providers in its services.
• Lakeistenranta Camping does not store bank account or credit card information at any stage.
• The customer agrees to comply with the terms and conditions of the payment method they have chosen.
• Payment by invoice
o The invoice must be paid by the due date indicated on the invoice.
o Late payment fees are always added to invoices paid after the due date. If the invoice is paid after the due date with the original invoice and late payment fees have already been incurred, the fees will be invoiced separately.
• If the payment transaction has not been successfully completed at the time of ordering,
Lakeistenranta Camping will not process the order.
